How to Make Selling Easier and More Fun with One Powerful Mindset Hack

How’s your week going?

I hope it has been going well.

This week, we will touch on strengthening your mindset around selling.

Our minds are amazing, but if we don’t intentionally guide them, it’s easy to end up way off course, overwhelmed and frustrated. Not to mention discouraged or icky from the thought of selling to friends or family.

For some of you, your worse nightmare is selling to complete strangers.

Not to worry, this simple thought can have lasting impacts on your wallet and your success for years to come.

First, here are a few things to keep in mind:

The demand for your offer is there. It is permanent. People are waiting for your help. They were looking for help before you even chose to start your business, and they need you.
Not everyone is your ideal customer and that’s ok
You only need to be in full Belief of yourself about 5% of the time and still be able to succeed, so don’t beat yourself up, you’ve got this.

Serving Not Selling

Ok, here is your new thought:

“How Can I Help Them?”

This takes the intention off of selling, money, or income goals, and instead puts the focus where it belongs, on your potential customer.

They need your help, you help them, and they will be ready to pay you for your help.

You have to have belief in yourself, your abilities, and your offer. If you have those 3 things you’ll be unstoppable.

A Focused Heart

It is Powerful. Entering every situation with a heart focused on serving rather than receiving.

This mindset shift can be hard, especially when you’re short on cash or have a big goal you’re trying to reach.

However, when you start entering situations such as a Facebook group or reddit feed, for example, rather than going into it in an “I’m coming to find a client” headspace.

Instead enter with a “who/how can I help” mindset.

By sharing genuine solid advice/answering someones question/problem, you’re showing your knowledge in a natural way by giving earnestly, generously, and not holding back.

People will take notice.

10x Your Sales

It might seem ridiculously simple, but remember everything begins with a thought.

Change your thoughts, your belief in yourself and you can change the world.

This is 10x more effective than hard selling anyone.

If you find yourself feeling desperate for sales please remember this one fact if nothing else.

The demand for your skills is indefinite.

The demand was there before you ever started. People were searching for what you offer and are waiting for you right now.

You’ve Got This

So start small, change your thoughts, & be aware of what you’re telling yourself.

Start looking for people to help for free, remember it does two major things:

It shows them how much you know building your authority & credibility on the subject
It gives them a result, which shows them what you offer can help them (this is a major objection that most people have, the thought “but will it work for me” is often hard to overcome-not when u use this method ) It’s way better than testimonials, while important, this gives them irrefutable evidence that what you can do DOES help them because it already has, they are much more willing to become your clients now.

What Was With That Full Moon?

It was a crazy week, let me know in the comments below how yours was

Boy, oh boy, I’ve heard people chatting this week about the full moon and crazy that seems to go hand and hand. I don’t know about that, but I know last week was nuts!

We missed a doctor’s appointment on Monday, Facebook randomly blocked my live event mid-way thru the Rock-it Blueprint Live workshop, so we had to move to zoom (they said I was going too fast… what does that even mean?!), forgot the kid’s awana church vests at home, had 3 essays to write for my college course, one of them got turned in with 2 whole minutes to spare before it was late at midnight and burnt our hamburgers because…kids, ‘nough said .

With launching any new product comes self-doubt and that awful imposter syndrome, no matter how successful you are, it still creeps in and surprises ya when you least expect it.

I had some belief issues myself and had to work thru thought models to work my way thru it, and I had wonderful encouragement from my whole support group, my parents, friends, and lovely ladies at my church.

I am so thankful for that support, and I hope that if you need support, you will consider joining our community.

Besides all the great training, I went with the community because so many of us are isolated, our jobs keep us behind a computer, and even if we are near others, they often don’t understand our “marketing” speak.

Their eyes glaze over when we start talking about content, conversions, and views….and we’re left alone again.

It’s so lovely to have a growing group of ladies that can jump on our community and ask questions, share their struggles, get support, ask for feedback, and celebrate wins altogether, even though we’re all so far apart.

It’s a dream of mine to transform this industry from isolated to fully supported. I’m achieving that goal one woman at a time.
