How to Bulk Delete Images In WordPress Site

0:01 Hey everybody, this is Bianca from Creative Marketing Mom. Today we’re gonna have a quick video about how to delete all those images at once in your media. 0:11 So over here, first you make sure you’re logged into your site. Then you’re gonna see the media option over here, but you don’t wanna have to go through and delete one at a time, especially when you first started either a new blog or you’ve entered in a new page template or a new theme. 0:31 It dumps all this images that you don’t need into your blog. We don’t want that, right? And it’s a, it’s a pain to go one by one and delete it. 0:40 So we’re going to go to wordpress.com/media/your website. Or you can just do wordpress.com/website. You’ll see that there’s a media option right here on the left. 0:56 We’re gonna go right here. You see all of them, they’re all here. And what’s really great about this is a couple of things. 1:04 First of all, you are able to minimize, make ’em smaller or make ’em bigger. So you can see a bunch at once, or if you really would like to see it in detail, you can make it bigger, which is a really nice feature. 1:18 The next thing is that you’re able to click and select just like you would on your phone or anything else. 1:25 And just like that, bam. You can just start deleting or selecting all of the items you wanna delete. So you can see that I had put in a new theme so that I would have this data dump, huh, to be able to delete for this video. 1:42 So I’m gonna go through and select all these images I don’t want that were given to me from the theme. 1:51 And now you can see I have over 37 all at once. Then you’re gonna come up here to the top left and you’re gonna select the delete button, and it’s gonna ask you, of course, are you sure? 2:05 And say, yep, I wanna delete it, and it’s gonna take care of that. Isn’t that amazing? So instead of doing one by one by one, which is really, really time consuming, it’s gonna go through and get rid of all of them, which is really, really great. 2:20 So that is my quick tip of the day to make your life so much easier.
